NICOLE A. RAUZI, AIA

Nicole sees kitchen design as a specialty within the architecture field and particularly likes to think through how cooks will use the space.

A native of central Ohio, Nicole studied studio art at Hope College in Michigan, and spent time in England and Italy studying art and architecture. She earned her master’s degree in architecture from  Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, completing a thesis on waterfront design and redevelopment of formally industrial sites into new urban destinations.

Upon graduation she moved to Annapolis with her husband and fellow architect, Tobias Sullivan.She worked at several notable firms in the city before hanging out her own shingle.

Nicole is a member of the Eastport Yacht Club, Eastport Civic Association Architecture & Zoning Committee, Eastport Democratic Club and the American Institute of Architects. Nicole spends her free time working with Tobias on their never-ending home improvement and DIY projects (including a 1966 Airstream). She is and avid design magazine reader, enjoys cooking, gardening, creating mixed media art and riding her Vespa.
